Tanner's 1 year old pictures
Its so sad that my little man is growing up so fast. Our lives have been filled with so much laughter and smiles since last November. I can not imagine what it will be like to have 2 children to fill our home and hearts. Thanks to Kelsey for taking some amazing pictures like always. Its not easy to get Tanner to sit long (2 pictures at a time).

Baby it's cold outside
Tory called me this evening when he got to his car at the park and ride and said "My car is covered in snow." Not words that you normally hear in Houston. As Tory and Tanner were getting home Tory's windshield cracked. We had just gotten that rock chip on Sunday. Now he needs a new windshield. It has been snowing at the house since around 5:30pm and it was so much fun to go out and play in the snow with our neighbors and Tanner. I guess this is what it looks like to have a white Christmas.

Happy Birthday Tanner
Tanner's 1st birthday party in New Orleans was alot of fun. Tanner has a sweet tooth like his dad and was ready to tear into the cake. We had no problem getting him to get dirty with the blue icing from his cake. It was nice to get to see everyone and tell them our little secret that we have been keeping for a few weeks now.

Many Class of 1998 10 year reunion
What a weekend we had. Tory had his final golf tournament this weekend and it was also my 10 year class reunion. So Tory played in his tournament Saturday morning while Tanner went over to a friends to play and I went to work for a massage. We left Houston around 4 and got to my parents, changed and was out their door in under 30 minutes. Went to my reunion, stayed till 10:30pm and then drove back to Houston. We got home around 2am and Tory's alarm went off at 4:30am. I am still trying to catch up on my sleep and get the car and house back together after all the running around we did.
It was nice to see everyone. I did find out that there are a few more of my classmates that live in Houston also. Everyone looks the same as we did in high school. Cant wait to see how things are in 10 more years.

Do I want to be a CPA or an Artist?
Yesterday Tanner and I spent the whole day together. Tory was playing his last golf tournament for the year so we went shopping. While I was getting ready, Tanner pulled open Tory's night stand and pulled out the calculator. He carried it all around the house and played with it along with the broken mouse. I guess he is starting early with the love for numbers?

Were did the month of September go??? 1st half of the month
September went by so fast that I never got to post what all happened during the month. This month Tanner had lots of new 1st.
We told our neighbor about Tanner's fall when we got home and she asked if had thrown up following the fall. He had not so we did not think anything about it. Well next morning we had to wake him up at 9:00am which is very unusual since he normally is up at 7:00 sharp. Tory brought him down and I told him that he still stunk from yesterday even after giving him a 20 minute bath. Well, we then realized that he had thrown up in his bed. After throwing up 5 more times in the matter of 20 minutes, I called Tory to come back home and we took Tanner to Texas Children's for his first visit to the ER and his first CAT scan. The doctor then told us that yes he had a small concussion but everything else was fine.
Here are pictures of our first round of golf as a threesome. Tanner enjoyed being outside. It was all great till hole 16 and I got a migraine and sat out playing the hole. Tanner stayed in the cart with me and the next thing I know, Tanner tried to get out of the cart by himself and well, fell hitting his head on the sidewalk.

Then this little storm Hurricane Ike, which Tory kept telling us that it was going to turn right, looked like it had his eye set for Houston. After calling back home (New Orleans) I deceided to pack us all up while Tory took his 8 mile run and we left the day before the storm. No one was on the road so it was an easy drive. We lost power Friday night at 8pm so I was so glad that we left. It was nice to spend a long weekend (5 days). We did not have any major damage but the eye did pass over our house.
Here are some pictures during our stay just hanging out with all our family.
